Amazing Fun Trip around Hue
I emailed Tu at 9.30pm the night before the trip as due to some last-minute change of plans we were now free the next day with nothing to do. He responded in 5 minutes and within an hour we had exchanged a few emails and he had arranged a tour the following day for myself and three friends. What amazing service. He had arranged a private taxi to pick us up from a hotel 45mins outside of Hue. He came with the taxi and immediately we knew we were in good hands as he was so bright and upbeat. He planned the trip around us and what we wanted to see. He also advised us on some special visits e.g. to the rice making museum which was a lovely experience to get there through the flooded fields. Tu and three colleagues: Sherlock, Qwee and Long (please excuse my spelling!) were so friendly, supportive (our first time on motorbikes) and considerate. We visited the rice museum, the citadel, stopped at a very authentic Vietnamese restaurant for lunch, we saw the Japanese bridge and Hue Market and a complete deserted temple just outside of town- magical. We even finished the tour at two different eateries as they felt there wasn’t enough food at the first place though we were well fed at this place too. They were so organised with one member taking photos which they promptly sent to us the next day, provided us with water and had ponchos in case it rained. Even little things like Tu buying something interesting for us to taste at the market (I won’t give it away) kept the whole experience fresh and fun. Highly recommended.
